2008 Shanghai Summer Program, China
May 19 - July 19, 2008
This is the fourth annual Georgia Tech Shanghai Summer Program, a
faculty-led study abroad program that is co-sponsored by the
Office of International Education and the
Georgia Tech - Shanghai Initiative. This program is in partnership with
Shanghai Jiaotong University (SJTU).
Our 2007 program enrolled 47 students from 13 different schools/majors
(AE, BME, CEE, CompE, CS, ECON, EE, IndDes, ISyE, MGT,
ME, MSE, PTFE). This program is open to students from all U.S. colleges and
universities.

Six Georgia Tech professors will teach eight courses
in science, engineering, humanities, and social sciences.
SJTU will offer non-credit courses in
Chinese Martial Arts, Chinese Cooking,
Chinese Painting,
Chinese Calligraphy, and
Taijiquan.
Classes will be held during the nine-week period
May 19, 2008 - July 19, 2008.
