2008 Shanghai Summer Program Information Session. Location:
Van Leer Building, Room C457. Pizza and drinks will be served.
- Thursday, November 15, 2007, 6-7pm:

- January 2 - February 14, 2008:
Sign up on the group flight.
A limited number of seats are
available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Contact:
Rebecca Miller.
We only consider group flight requests from those who have submitted the $250 non-refundable deposit with their program application.
There is not a separate deposit for the
group flight; however, there is a penalty if you cancel your group flight
reservation after February 14, 2008.
Full payment for the group flight will be due on
March 26, 2008.
- Friday, February 15, 2008:
Deadline for applying
to the 2008 Shanghai Summer Program.
- Friday, March 7, 2008:
First program fee payment in the amount
of $1,500 is due. Pay to the Bursar's Office.
You are also welcome to pay the entire program fee balance
of $3,395-$250 (deposit) = $3,145 by this date.
- Friday, March 14, 2008:
Deadline for signing up on the group flight (first come, first serve).
Provide your name as it appears on the passport. Contact:
Rebecca Miller.
- Monday, March 31, 2008:
Partial program fee refund deadline; signed cancellation form
required. See

- Wednesday, March 26, 2008:
Group flight payment is due to the Bursar.

- Wednesday, March 26 through Sunday, April 6, 2008:
Course registration must be performed on OSCAR Web during early registration
phase according to your time ticket.
- Friday, April 11, 2008:
Program Fee balance of $1,645 ($3,395 subtract $250 subtract
$1,500) is due. Pay to the Bursar's Office.
- Tuesday, April 22, 2008, 5-7pm
Second Shanghai Summer Program orientation.
Location: College of Management Building, Room 202.
Pizza and drinks will be served.

- Courses and Phase I registration problems (if any)
- Pick up your group flight ticket
- Pick up your insurance card
- Receive emergency contact card
- Provide a copy of your passport with visa
- Provide a copy of your itinerary and airline ticket if you are not
going with the group flight
- Sign Housing Release form
- Chinese conversation/culture, info on public transportation, phones,
travel guides/making travel plans, info about campus, safety, places to eat,
dress code, laundry, what to pack, etc
- Sign up for roommates
- Sign up for cultural courses

Tuition due to Georgia Tech Bursar's office.
- Thursday, May 8, 2008 - Friday, May 16, 2008:
Phase II registration.
- Monday, May 19, 2008: First day of classes for the
Shanghai Summer Program.
- Saturday, July 19, 2008: Last day of final exams for the
Shanghai Summer Program.
